Three generations opting for Studio Clement
Eline Halet is the 3rd generation of a family of pharmacists. Her grandfather used to run a pharmacy in Lebbeke, and in 2018 she took over her parents’ pharmacy in Sint-Amandsberg, embarking on a complete renovation in 2022. Nine months after work began, Halet Pharmacy reopened with a reinvigorated spirit.
All wishes ticked off

In 2022, Eline approached Studio Clement with a wish list of things she wanted to have in her new pharmacy. Although she was initially still considering a renovation, the building as it was then was stripped down to its foundations to make room for a brand new pharmacy space.
‘It was an obvious choice for me to work with Studio Clement, as both my grandfather and my father had already successfully called on the company’s services,’ says Eline. ‘But I am also very enthusiastic about their approach.’
Less is more
Halet Pharmacy is about simplicity and privacy. Eline decided on a restrained and light-filled interior with predominantly white and natural wood. The service counter jumps out courtesy of the light green, handcrafted tiles and the gold-coloured designer lighting, which lends the entire premises a warm touch.
‘I also wanted a spacious office area for tests and vaccinations and a practical preparation room. I think it’s extremely important that contact with the patient is maintained there and that we are not completely secluded.’
Moreover, the pharmacy has wide passageways, which makes for easy access for wheelchair users.

Close follow-up ensures peace of mind
Eline speaks very favourably of our transparency, but also of the fact that all arrangements were honoured. ‘Everything was carried out according to plan and our budget remained unchanged, without any unexpected bombshells afterwards. And, just as importantly, the tight deadline was met, allowing me to reopen the pharmacy within the agreed timeframe.’
- My grandfather had his pharmacy in Lebbeke, and my parents took over the pharmacy in Sint-Amandsberg in 1976.
- The preparation area and office/consultation area are not ‘directly’ linked.
- Most of the house (except for the garage and the pharmacy stock room) was completely demolished, which meant new foundations were laid.
